The Anatro Family
Elise, Stephen, and Maria Anatro are co-owners of
Club Barks. Elise and Stephen (brother and sister)
grew up in Totowa, NJ and went to High School less
than a quarter mile from the West Paterson location.
Maria grew up in Union County and is married to
Stephen. As dog lovers/owners, they could never find a
place to leave there beloved pets when traveling.
This, combined with a strong belief that dogs want to
be social and active led them to blend their experience
and talents to open Club Barks - West Paterson.
Elise Anatro
Elise (pictured above with Chester, Frankie and Gabi) is co-owner and the ultimate “den mother” of Club Barks - West Paterson. She makes sure she knows every dog that walks through the door. Elise only acts in the best interest of the dogs, and ensures to the utmost of her ability that they are all safe, happy, and well taken care of at Club Barks.
Elise grew up in Totowa, NJ and was in the retail industry for 12 years at Frick and Frack, a local gift boutique. As an avid dog lover, she always wanted to develop a career that would involve caring for dogs. She is mom to Chester, a chocolate lab, Frankie, Gabi, and Johnie, 3 young huskies she adopted from Husky House, and a cat.
Steve Anatro
Steve (pictured above with Rudy, Trudy and Tootsie) is co-owner of Club Barks – West Paterson. Like Elise, he loves dogs and thought the concept of owning a doggie daycare facility would be both challenging and rewarding at the same time. Steve has a background in business analytics. He has two boston terriers, Rudy and Trudy.
Ann Alfano
Ann (pictured above with her 3 dogs) is a manager of Club Barks and adopted 3 dogs while working at Club Barks, Loki, Gracie, and Cy.
James Bedoe
James (pictured above with his dog Aria) is a manager of Club Barks and adopted Aria and Echo while working at Club Barks.
